Job description

As an Account Manager at Temper, you’re not just managing clients — you’re building partnerships. You’ll take ownership of your own portfolio in Hospitality and Facility Services , making sure our clients get the most out of our platform to deploy flexible teams effortlessly. From onboarding new clients to elevating existing relationships, you’ll be the go-to person who ensures everything runs smoothly.

🧩 Your Role at Temper 

  • You manage your portfolio and expand your client base: this means building a strong professional relationship with your clients and staying informed about market developments so you can capitalize on opportunities and challenges.

  • You are proactive and always seeking opportunities to take your portfolio to the next level.

  • You understand the needs of the customer: as an industry expert, you can identify and prioritize customer needs. You know how to steer the conversation with the customer in the right direction to lead to a successful outcome. Whether it's C-level decision-makers or managers at the operational level, you know how to handle them.

  • You have strong analytical skills: you are adept at handling data and translating it into clear action points for your clients. Based on your findings, you determine the next steps, always with the best interests of both parties in mind.

  • You lead by example: you can convey ideas and information clearly and motivatively. Not only within your team and at Temper, but also with your clients. Regular updates and feedback are essential for improving our product and ourselves!

  • You’re eager to seek for opportunities and improve storytelling based on your client- and market needs. 

🤝 Your Future Team

You’ll become part of the Dutch Account Management team with a total of 7 Account Managers. We are a close team that is open in sharing feedback, challenges and opportunities. Besides, we tend to join each other in client meetings to learn from each other and to make celebrating success even more fun!

Job requirements

💪 What You Bring to the Team

  • ✅ Must-Haves

    • Have 3-5 years of relevant commercial experience in (strategic) account management.

    • Have HBO-level education.

    • Speak fluent Dutch and have a good command of English.

    • Are able to turn ideas into concrete plans.

    • Are data-driven and innovative.

    • Have a commercial mindset.

    • You are communicative and have hands-on mentality 

  • ⭐ Nice-to-Haves

    • Experience or knowledge of software such as Asana, Looker and Salesforce is a plus.

    • A network in hospitality
